Whoa, where did a month go? My last post was mid September and I think today is October 19th! We've been keeping busy and enjoying the fall's fun activities. Greg had another fun softball tourney a couple of weeks ago and we went to a neighbor's daughter's bday party at the end of September. It's nice being in such a friendly neighborhood! Then October came quick! We're still finishing up the living room. It's almost there. Curtains are up, the ottoman finally came on Friday, we got the entertainment center last night and now we need to decide what pictures to hang.
For the last 10 days we've been having a blast hanging with Greg's parents; Pops and Grammie. They've watched Cody and took him to fun places like the SF Zoo and Palo Alto's little kids museum. Together we've gone to Lemo's Farm in Half Moon Bay, dinner at Mark and Courtney's Ranch, music class and we just returned from three days in Paso Robles, the Central Coast's really cool wine country.
We tasted lots of great wines, swam in the outdoor pool, Cody played in parks and the Children's museum and we had a ton of great food. It's a really cool place less than 3 hours away that's a lot less shee shee than Napa. Cody was great in the car, partly thanks to the Ipad's fun Elmo apps and Caillou and did great sleeping in the hotel. Barb and John even watched him one night and Greg and I got really crazy. We went out had two glasses of wine and dessert and got home by the early dawn, jk we got home and in bed by 10:30 but it was really fun. Well the last two nights I've been grading papers until 11:30 I think I'm delirious, Greg's going his softball and I'm going to bed.
