Yah, belly band!

Its Monday Feb 25th, Paige and Kyle left yesterday. Mandy found out today about Ohio! It was a fun weekend hanging out with the sisters and Kyle. Paige and Kyle got here Wednesday and explored San Jose and Santa Cruz Thursday(in the rain) while Greg and I worked. Then at night we went to the super cool Cal Academy of the Sciences. They have Djs and bars set up once a week. It's a pretty spectacular place. On Friday they took BART to Berkeley and hung out with Mandy, Asa, and Sabi. Then Greg and I joined Noah and them for dinner at their Berkeley pad. Saturday we were everywhere! We drove across the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County and explored Black Sand Beach, then met up with Mandy and the kids at Yerba Buena Gardens. We had an early dinner in China Town, walked around North Beach (the Italian neighborhood) then said bye to Mandy n gang. The four of us went to the top of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel's Starlite Lounge for a drink, then onto the totally awesome Tongan room. Paige send me pics and I'll put some up. Then I drove the drinkers back to Ocean Beach where Kyle proposed and they got some sand for their version of a unity candle. As for me, today I'm tired, I think fighting off a little cold. I relaxed yesterday while Greg skied at Squaw. He spent 12 hours on a bus due to weather and traffic! But yes, the belly band. My cousin Kate let me borrow two of these wonderous inventions and they are definitely needed. They allow you to wear your normal bands but not have to button them. I don't know if its the Kara cupcakes, or Godiva brownies, but my sisters and I enjoyed some great food and as you can see, the buttons on my pants are about to explore. Belly band please! We're looking forward to a relaxing week. Then next week Greg is skiing with the boys in Utah and Mandy and I are taking the kids to Santa Cruz. It's still raining here. Its the most its rained since we've been here. Reminds me of home :)

14 weeks and thriving

Just got word from my last blood work that everything is going really well with Chaps. Its over 14 weeks now. I've gained a couple pounds can you tell?

Holiday Recap

Happy New Year, Greg and I had such great time back in NY and PA with our families. I feel like we saw 100 people in 10 days. A quick recap since its so amazing how much we got to do and how I'm lucky not to be tired during the pregnancy. We got home Wednesday morning and that was night we told my parents about Chappy. There's a picture included of us telling the Gaetanos during our Christmas Eve celebration. There's also a pic of me holding Sabi with Asa looking on and a family picture outside in the Utica snow. It was cold! Christmas was great and at night we saw Avatar. Awesome! Saturday we went on the Saranac Brewery Tour. The non-alcoholic brew sucks. Then I got to see my friend Lindsey's new house and baby. Then visited with Paige and Kyle at Sean and Carla, another Whitesboro alum's house with their baby too. Sunday we went to the Turning Stone Casino to have spa treatments, thanks Paige, then saw the beautiful site of their wedding. Then we had an early dinner with neighbors, Ted and Frida. Hmmmm Utica cavatelli! Then we went to Zebb's to see the end of the Eagles game. Go Birds, they won! Later we rented and laughed at The Hangover. Monday was the never ending day of Amtrak. We were on trains or at train stations from 8AM-6PM, there were some major delays and mishaps. But then we got to visit Sarba, Chris, and baby Thalia in their cute new Brooklyn digs. We got Philly, by train, later that night. Tuesday Greg's rents took us to the Italian market and South Street in Philly. We got awesome meat and cheeses for a spectacular dinner. Man was it cold, but cool to be there! We also got to hang out with Oma and Uncle Steve. We celebrated another Christmas Eve/Morning with them and it was great! On Wednesday we saw over 20 bald eagles at a Conowingo Dam near the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. After a good Asian dinner we went to Cutillo's to hang out with Bret, Greg's childhood friend. Thursday we went to Philly and celebrated New Year's with Jon's friends at Lucky Strike Bowling Lanes. By Friday we were ready to relax at Jon's watching the bowl games. Before our long flight home, we went to Jessica Notte's house and saw Aunt Nan and Uncle Joe and Jessica's growing family. Sunday, back in warm Cali, we relaxed and remembered our trip with fond, fun memories filled with tons of food!!!
